The following information can be helpful if you experience problems with SMC's web based email environment (referred to as iNotes).
Versions of Internet Explorer (IE) will behave differently as the recommended configurations are adjusted. The information that follows is not intended to be a step by step guide, but general advice for working through your browser settings to solve issues that may occur while using the iNotes application.
The goal is to restore your browser to the default or base settings and clear the installed objects or ActiveX controls. When suggested, restarting your browser and launching iNotes should force the browser to re-install the control object that is used by iNotes. Note however, that each option is presented in a format that allows you to use a full reset of your Internet Explorer browser as a last resort in troubleshooting this issue.
